the music is playing… the hardest part (?) is over. now to turn this weirdness into something resembling what it once was, a living and evolving place to find and experience music.
adding songs — we are no longer limited by the 280 cd capacity of the beast, being an entirely digital operation. as such, a suggestion box will be opening up on a page here for any albums and artists you want to see online (if we can get the files), and eventually a direct upload to add mp3 files from your computer into the station library
removing songs — not everything here is to everyone’s liking. if you want to send a song back where it came from and make sure it never gets in the library again, send $5 via paypal to ephemeralearth867@gmail.com and the song will disappear from our playlist
mandatory mixtapes — want to be dj for a while? submit your playlist as a single track mp3 file of 30, 40, 45, 60, 80, or 90 minutes length and we will schedule it for a first air time (and if it’s any good, add it to the library to keep coming up every once in a while on repeats)
scheduled programming — if you always wanted to have your own radio show, send us your ideas and a sample episode (30, 40, 45 or 60 minutes length) to ephemeralearth867@gmail.com, we can get your first episode on air and based on our and listener feedback if it’s anything anyone wants to hear we can put it on schedule every week. (note: there is currently no option for live programming, as there is no physical location for a studio or transmission site)
